Impact Summary of Our Initiatives

Educational Support for Children

Over 2,300 children have received direct educational support through various programs. This initiative empowers young minds with knowledge, digital literacy, and skill development, helping them to pursue better educational and career opportunities.

Health Camps

We have successfully conducted more than 500 health camps to address the healthcare needs of underprivileged communities. These camps provide essential medical check-ups, screenings, and preventive care, promoting health and well-being in vulnerable populations.

Environmental Conservation

As part of our commitment to the environment, we have planted over 4,000 trees. This initiative enhances green cover, combats climate change, and raises awareness among communities about the importance of environmental conservation.

Food Kit Distributions

To address food security among economically weaker sections, we have distributed 10,000 food kits. These kits provide families with essential supplies, contributing to nutritional support and easing daily challenges faced by underserved communities.

Stationery Distribution to Children in Slums

Recognizing the importance of educational resources, we have distributed stationery supplies to 250+ children in slum areas. This small but impactful initiative enables children to continue their studies without the barrier of limited resources.

Sri. Kumar S Naik

Mr. Kumar S. Naik, originally from the remote village of Kuskur in Shivamogga district, migrated to Bangalore in search of employment to support his family. After working in the garments industry, he established his own boutique business. Subsequently, he ventured into the construction industry, starting a brick factory and a helmet manufacturing business through his own efforts. Additionally, he ventured into the building construction business. Furthermore, he has collaborated with the film industry. In 2014, he founded the Kalparaksha Educational & Charitable Trust to serve the needy children in Mahalakshmi Layout. To date, he has supported and rehabilitated over 1000 children into mainstream society by providing food, shelter, and education. His noble service has been recognized with the Kayaka Ratna award from Basava Samaja and the Lifetime Achievement Award for Best Social Service from the Indian Business Awards. Over the past ten years, various clubs and associations have honored him for his service.

Thanks to KRECT's Empower and Education program, I was able to fulfill my dream of pursuing higher education.
