The Awareness Program for HIV by KRECT is dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting prevention measures within communities. Despite significant progress in combating the HIV epidemic, stigma and misinformation continue to pose barriers to prevention and treatment efforts. Through educational workshops, outreach campaigns, and distribution of informational materials, we seek to dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding HIV/AIDS. Our aim is to empower individuals with accurate knowledge about transmission, prevention, and treatment options, thereby reducing the
risk of new infections and ensuring those living with HIV receive the support and care they need. By fostering open dialogue and destigmatizing HIV/AIDS, we strive to create a supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable seeking testing, treatment, and support services. The Awareness Program for HIV is not only about preventing the spread of the virus but also about promoting compassion, understanding, and solidarity with those affected by it.
According to the official global public health campaign, AIDS has killed more than 36 million people worldwide. In order to prevent this, we have been doing a camp called HIV eradication. For this, we invited qualified HIV experts as the main guests at the global camp and gave them complete information about it, and we also conducted a related medical test. so that ordinary people know how to prevent the disease. From 2016 to 2023, we have conducted about 200 HIV global camps.
